St. Anton is a world class resort and one of the Alps’ premier skiing destinations. It is the so called “cradle” of the sport where the first skier’s locked down their heels and started alpine skiing more than 100 years ago. Skiing is a way of life and the history runs deep within its culture. St. Anton is a winter paradise with stunning vistas in all directions. It hosted the World Championships for Alpine Skiing in 2001 and offers incredible powder skiing in high alpine bowls, steep chutes, and through perfectly spaced trees. There is also an abundant amount of groomed terrain or piste skiing for beginner and intermediate skiers. The Arlberg Group continually reinvests in its lift systems and therefore offers the latest technology in most of its 94 lifts that span over six mountain villages.
In addition to the skiing, St. Anton is famous for its vibrant après ski and nightlife. One has to experience the après ski to believe it! There are many pubs, bars and nightclubs that offer different atmospheres including live music to dance music to which late night revellers dance the night away.
Dinning establishments are both on and off the mountain and provide excellent service and delicious meals to accommodate all budgets.
St. Anton rounds itself by offering daily groomed tracks for cross country skiing, a rodel track that is open for night tobogganing, and a health and wellness center that includes a spa with all the amenities.
